At twenty-one, Isaac Luzon wrote a sci-fi novel about humanity being hunted to extinction by void-creatures called Shadows. Then, the gates from his manuscript opened over his actual apartment. He spent the next five hundred years on Barren Earth, trapped in a death loop, fighting an endless war against the monsters he invented until his entire vanguard of Harbingers and Trailblazers was wiped out.

When the system resets, Isaac wakes up in Year 520 of a “peaceful era.” The remnants of humanity have walled themselves inside the Magnetic Nation, treating the apocalypse as a harvested energy resource and fighting with a stunted, artificially capped combat system. Worse, Isaac’s dead comrades have reincarnated as oblivious teenagers attending the nation’s elite combat academy, utterly unaware that the true Shadow invasion will breach their walls in less than thirty days.

Armed with a physical body registered as the lowest possible tier—a 1st Grade Worker—and a broken system cheat that grants him the authority of a Level 12 Teacher, Isaac infiltrates Levitate School. He doesn’t care about their exams. He doesn’t care about their arrogance.

He has one month to drag a classroom of pampered elites back to the apex of human survival, because the author of the apocalypse is the only one who knows how the story ends.
